The present invention relates to a composite material with improved mechanical properties and a molded article comprising the same. More specifically, provided is a composite material which is obtained by processing a resin composition composed of a thermoplastic resin, a multi-walled carbon nanotube, and a reinforcing material, wherein the average diameter of the multi-walled carbon nanotube is greater than or equal to 10 nm, and ten or more graphene layers make up the wall of the multi-walled carbon nanotube. In addition, the ID/IG ratio of the multi-walled carbon nanotube is less than or equal to 1, and the length remaining rate of the carbon nanotube remaining in the composite material is greater than or equal to 40%. Mechanical properties of the thermoplastic resin-containing composite material can be enhanced without reduction in conductivity. Thus, the composite material can be produced into various molded articles. |
