PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave device which further reduces size of the entire structure, and to provide a manufacturing method of the elastic wave device.SOLUTION: An elastic wave device includes: a substrate 3; an excitation electrode positioned on a main surface 3a of the substrate 3; a cover 5 positioned on the main surface 3a so as to cover the excitation electrode and having grooves 18 extending over an entire side surface in a height direction on the side surface; and terminals 7, each of which has a pillar filling the groove 18 in a state that its side surface is positioned on the same plane as the side surface of the cover 5, and which electrically connects with the excitation electrode. |
