A foldable mask according to the present invention has a filter unit in a five layered structure. The foldable mask comprises: a first filter unit (1) arranged on the center portion of the mask; a second filter unit (2) extending upward from the first filter unit (1); a third filter unit (3) extending downward from the first filter unit (1); a fourth filter unit (4) coupled to be overlapped with the inner side of the upper end of the second filter unit (2); and a fifth filter unit (5) coupled to be overlapped with the inner surface of the lower end of the third filter unit (3). The first filter unit (1) has both left and right end portions folded into a double layer and an accommodation unit formed between the folded portions. A string (13) has both end portions inserted into the accommodation unit while being overlapped with a length adjustment device (7). The length adjustment device (7), in a hollow cylindrical shape, has a certain surface in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder sectioned in a straight line to be formed into a crimp ring shape. The string (13) has separation prevention projections (T) formed on the both end portions. Therefore, the present invention has effects of: exhibiting an enhanced filtration performance of fine dust as the fourth filter unit (4) and the fifth filter unit (5) enable the foldable mask to be attached closely to the front contours of the face of a user; enabling the user to adjust the length of the string (13) based on the user′s facial size by using the length adjustment device (7) having the crimp ring shape; and enabling easy transportation and storage as it is possible to decrease the size of the foldable mask. |
