PURPOSE:To enable carrying of a work utilizing vertical movement of an upper die by connecting the vertically movable upper die and a horizontally movable support with a wire and energizing a support that supports a latch for moving a work with a spring of proper strength. CONSTITUTION:When a cylindrical case 6 is raised by ascent of the upper die 2, a stopper 8 supported by a spring 7 is raised and transmitted to a stopper 15 through a wire 10. Rising stroke of the case 6 is absorbed by compressing stroke of springs 7, 19, and a cylindrical stopper 18 does not move. When the upper die 2 is raised further, movable amount A, B of springs 7, 19 becomes zero and the stopper 18 starts horizontal movement. A base 24 for moving starts moving in the direction X of feeding of the work W, and a moving clutch 29 catches the work W and carries on a lower die 3 in the direction X. When the work W is moved by one pitch, ascent of the upper die 2 is stopped. At this time, next work W is carried to a pressing position Y, and the upper die 2 is lowered and press work is performed. |
