Disclosed are a bumper stay unit for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the bumper stay unit for a vehicle comprises: a front pipe of which one end is connected to a bumper beam; a rear pipe of which an inner circumferential surface of one end portion is partially inserted into the other end of the front pipe to be assembled; and at least one heat treatment reinforcing unit formed through pattern irradiation of a laser beam to the other end portion of the rear pipe. Thus, collision absorbing performance with respect to collision energy can be improved.
