PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection unit having higher flexibility.SOLUTION: The position detection unit comprises: an XY coordinate formation section which has structure formed by crossing an X-axis wire body consisting of a plurality of wire bodies and a Y-axis wire body consisting of a plurality of wire bodies; a drive signal input section which is provided at one end side of the plurality of Y-axis wire bodies and inputs a drive input signal to the one end side of the plurality of Y-axis wire bodies; and a position detection signal output section which is provided at one end side of the plurality of X-axis wire bodies and, when an XY coordinate position of the XY coordinate formation section is designated by a position designation tool, outputs a position detection signal corresponding to the designated coordinate position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
