PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated type liquid detergent composition having appropriate viscosity and transparent appearance before and after dilution, high foam retentivity and detergency.SOLUTION: There is provided a concentrated type liquid detergent composition which comprises (A) 0.5 to 5 wt.% of a compound represented by the general formula (1), (B) 1 to 15 wt.% of benzoic acid and/or a salt thereof and (C) 0.01 to 3 wt.% of a magnesium-containing compound as essential components.
