PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide SOFC improved in power generation performance, which can be manufactured in a simple and easy way.SOLUTION: A cylindrical SOFC is provided according to the present invention, which comprises a SOFC half cell having an electrolytic layer the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical anode, and a cathode provided on the outer peripheral surface of the SOFC half cell. The SOFC half cell is manufactured by the steps of: a) preparing an anode-forming composition including an anode precursor which makes an anode material of the SOFC by baking, and an electrolytic layer-forming composition including an electrolyte precursor which makes an electrolyte material of the SOFC by baking; b)molding, by an extrusion method, the anode-forming composition into a cylindrical form to form a cylindrical anode mold, and integrally molding, by the extrusion method, the electrolytic layer-forming composition like a layer on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical anode mold to form an electrolytic layer mold, thereby obtaining a half cell green body; and c)baking the half cell green body, thereby preparing the SOFC half cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
