PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a structure that facilitates assembling of a contact connected to a cable and a housing, and enables one connector to be pulled out from the mating connector without obstruction of other connectors and cables connected to the other connectors under the state that plural connectors are connected to mating connectors arranged on a lateral line.SOLUTION: A member for holding a contact 400 is divided into a first housing 200 and a second housing 300, the contact 400 is at least partially mounted in the first housing 200, and then the second housing 300 is secured to the first housing 200, whereby the contact 400 is held by the first housing 200 and the second housing 300. An operation unit 370 and a hook portion 320 to which a finger is hooked to manipulate the operation unit 370 are provided to be separated from each other in an extension direction of a cable 600 (predetermined direction).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
