摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a polymer actuator capable of controlling the shape or deformation amount at the time of deformation.SOLUTION: Deformation of an actuator element 11 is controlled by preparing an actuator element 11 having a polymer membrane 11a deforming upon application of a voltage, and a conductive member 22 arranged on at least one surface of the actuator element 11 while having a resistance value relatively smaller than that of the actuator element 11, and coming into energizable contact therewith, and then changing the energization contact length of the conductive member 22 and actuator element 11. Alternatively, the contact length of the conductive member 22 and actuator element 11 may be changed by dividing the conductive member 22 into a plurality, connecting the conductive members 22 thus divided via a switch, and then switching the switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
