PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized capacitance type angle detecting device with high measurement accuracy that suppresses interference caused between two sensors of absolute and increment types.SOLUTION: A capacitance type angle detecting device includes a stator, a rotor 101 and a circuit board. The stator includes: stator electrodes that are formed at a central part, on a peripheral line and between these; multiple first reception electrodes that extend radially at a pitch angle of 90 degrees; and multiple second reception electrodes that extend radially at a pitch angle of 8 degrees. The rotor 101 includes rotor electrodes 21 to 23 that are provided on a surface facing the stator in a parallel and rotatable manner to the stator. The rotor electrode 21, the rotor electrode 23 and the rotor electrode 22 are formed into such shapes that an area of the surface facing the first reception electrodes, an area of the surface facing the second reception electrodes and an area of the surface facing the first and second reception electrodes change according to rotation of the rotor, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
