Provided are a personalization service providing method and a device thereof comprising: a communications unit, and a control unit including a profile generating module, a similarity degree calculating module, and an output controlling module. The communications unit receives a service profile from a service provider. The profile generating module generates the user profile based on a use history of an electronic device. The similarity degree calculating module calculates a similarity degree by comparing the service profile with the user profile. The output controlling module outputs recommendation information connected to the service profile including the similarity degree above a standard.
