The head-rest (1) has a moving part (4) associated with a fixed part (2) by a connection device. The device has rear rods (11, 12) whose rear ends are articulated at the fixed part according to transverse axes (13, 14) separated at a distance (D). A median rod (15) is articulated at front ends of the rods according to third and fourth transverse axes (16, 17). Front rods (18, 19) have rear ends articulated at the rear and middle rods according to the third and fourth axes.
