PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a voice recognition and text creation system capable of allowing a user to easily confirm and edit a minute book afterward even when a speech is once determined to be discarded during a meeting, and a control method of a portable terminal.SOLUTION: The control method of a voice recognition and text creation system is a method to acquire a piece of speech information, voice-recognize the acquired speech information and create a text. The voice recognition and text creation system determines whether a preset predetermined word is included in a character string of the created text. When the predetermined word is included, the voice recognition and text creation system identifies a character string which is associated with the predetermined word in the character string of the created text as a first character string as a deletion candidate. The voice recognition and text creation system controls a display terminal to display the first character string in a first display mode, and a second character strings which are character strings other than the first character string in a second display mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
