PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal print head suitable for improving the efficiency of the manufacturing.SOLUTION: A thermal print head 101 includes: a first substrate 11 including a first major surface 110, a first inclined surface 111 connected with a first end of the first major surface 110 and made an angle with the first major surface 110, and a second inclined surface 112 connected with a second end opposite to the first end of the first major surface 110 and made an angle with the first major surface 110; a first glaze layer 21 which is formed on the first inclined surface 111 of the first substrate 11 so as to be separated from the first major surface 110 and the second inclined surface 112 and has heat accumulation effect; a resistor layer 4 which is formed covering at least a part of the first glaze layer 21 and may generate heat; an electrode layer 3 which is connected with the resistor layer 4 and is formed extending from an area on the first inclined surface 111 to an area on the second inclined surface 112 passing through an area on the first major surface 110; a wire 81 connected with the electrode layer 3 on the second inclined surface 112; and a control IC which is electrically connected with the electrode layer 3 through the wire 81.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
