PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for reducing the amount of continuous forms to be ejected in performing temperature control of a fuser.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus that performs temperature control of a fuser before and after printing while conveying a medium to pass through the fuser, the fuser includes a fixing member that heats a developer to be fixed to the medium, and has a temperature control part that controls heating of the fixing member, a conveying member that conveys the medium to pass through the fuser, and a conveyance control part that controls the conveyance speed of the medium by the conveying member. When performing temperature control of the fuser either one of before or after printing, the conveyance control part conveys the medium at a lower speed than the fastest conveyance speed of preset conveyance speeds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
