PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a text comparison device that compares two modules (text files) each containing one or more lines and can efficiently compare the target modules.SOLUTION: A text comparison device can compare two target modules each containing one or more lines. The text comparison device includes comparison means and can obtain data from storage means. In the storage means, the target modules are stored. By sorting the lines contained in the target modules stored in the storage means in a predetermined order, target lists can be obtained. The comparison means performs text comparison to the two target lists respectively obtained from the target modules.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
