When a need for dual connectivity for a user apparatus served in at least one cell with a single connection is detected, selecting, by a network node controlling the cell, a second network node controlling at least one second cell to be a master network node in the dual connectivity, and sending a request to the second network node, the request requesting the second network node to function as the master network node in the dual connectivity.
