Disclosed are a device and method for detecting biometric information. The disclosed device comprises: a support member adhered on an object; at least one biometric information detecting sensor formed on the support member; and a position sensor for detecting a position on the object. The position sensor may detect position information from an object on which the device for detecting biometric information is attached. Position data detected by the position sensor may be compared with reference position data.
