The present invention improves the flowability of a powder including a powder having a low degree of sphericity. Provided is a powder for use in producing an object by layer-by-layer additive manufacturing by repeating the steps of spreading a powder in a layer, irradiating the layer with a beam to melt the powder, and forming a solidified layer, said powder being characterized by comprising 99 vol% or more first metal powder that has an average diameter of 10-200 μm and less than 1 vol% second powder that has a higher degree of sphericity than the first metal powder and has an average diameter not larger than 1/10 the average diameter of the first metal powder. |
