Provided is a fiber molded article excelling in durability against repeated compression, and excelling in softness and cushioning. A fiber molded article 1 provided with a fiber layer 3 composed of a structure wherein an opened bundle of crimped continuous fibers which extend in one direction is folded in the direction of extension of the continuous fibers so that ridges 2 repeatedly appear on the surface of the fiber layer 3, wherein the fiber molded article has ridges 2 having a pressed-flat shape, formed in the thickness direction 4 of the fiber molded article 1, on the surface of the fiber molded article 1, or the fiber molded article has fiber layers 3, which form the ridges 2 and extend in the thickness direction 4 of the fiber molded article 1 from both sides of the ridges, forming a continuous curved surface, and the fiber layers 3 of mutually adjacent ridges, which form the ridges and extend in the thickness direction 4 of the fiber molded article 1, are in close contact with each other in the thickness direction 4 of the fiber molded article. |
