The present invention is to provide a centrifugal separator having a structure with which height adjustment of multiple filtrate blocking plates can be rapidly and conveniently performed as the multiple filtrate blocking plates are installed to adjust a height at which filtrate overflows to be discharged. The centrifugal separator of the present invention comprises a screw conveyor which transfers a solid material to a solid material discharge hole and filtrate to a filtrate discharge part to separate the solid material from the filtrate by means of a difference in rotational speeds of an external drum and an inner drum, wherein a filtrate guide groove is formed on the surface of the screw conveyor to be continuously extended in a diameter direction thereof, wherein multiple grooves are formed at predetermined intervals on the circumference of the screw conveyor. In addition, the filtrate discharge part includes: a filtrate discharge hole penetrating the external drum to communicate with the inside of the external drum; installation protrusions projecting from a surface closely attached to the filtrate blocking plate and projecting from both sides of the filtrate discharge hole; and a filtrate blocking plate having multiple fitting holes for installation protrusions, which are formed in series on both sides in order to make the installation protrusions selectively fitted.
