Disclosed is an electrolyte formulation for being used in a biocompatible power supply element. The electrolyte formulation for being used in a biocompatible power supply element comprises a liquid electrolyte formulated to optimize biocompatibility, electrical performance, and physical performance. An active element of the electrolyte is sealed by biocompatible materials. A field of use for the device may include any biocompatible device or a product which requires the power supply element.
