A glass plate working device is provided with: a holding base (1) which holds a glass plate (G); a rail (2) on which the holding base (1) is moved along a predetermined conveyance path; cutting devices (3, 4, 5) which, on the conveyance path, cut the glass plate (G) into a rectangular shape having a predetermined size, the glass plate (G) being held by the holding base (1); and chamfering devices (7, 8, 9) which, on the conveyance path, chamfer the cut end surfaces of the glass plate (G) held on the conveyance path by the holding base (1). Working is started after the cutting devices (3, 4, 5) and the chamfering devices (7, 8, 9) are positioned relative to the holding base (1). |
