The present invention relates to a beam steering resonator which can steer a beam in all directions. According to the present invention, the beam steering resonator comprises: a first loop and a second loop for crossing at right angles to form two points of intersection; an AC power source installed on the first loop or the second loop; a first switch unit placed in one of the two points of intersection; and, a switching control unit for controlling the motion of the switch. The first switch unit is connected to a first node and a second node, which are the end points of the first loop, and to a third node and a fourth node, which are the end points of the second loop. The beam steering direction for conveying magnetic energy is determined by corresponding to the motion of the first switch unit. Accordingly, the present invention can steer a beam in all directions on a plane or in space. As well, the present invention can increase the efficiency of wireless power transmission by steering a beam to a desired position or in a desired direction. |
