A drill bit attachment and detachment system is disclosed. The drill bit attachment and detachment system comprises: a drill pipe operated to add the weight to a drill bit or reduce the weight applied to the drill bit; and a drill bit attachment and detachment device enabling the drill bit to be connected to the drill pipe when the drill pipe adds the weight to the drill bit and enabling the drill bit to be separated from the drill pipe when the drill pipe reduces the weight applied to the drill bit. The drill bit attachment and detachment system enables the drill bit to be connected to and separated from the drill pipe on the seabed.
