Disclosed is a ballpoint pen (1) comprising an inner lead holder (6) inserted in a shaft cylinder (2), wherein the inner lead holder (6) is provided with a slide portion (12) which moves in the axial direction along an inner lead emerging slit (13) of the shaft cylinder (2). Further, the slide portion (12) is snappably supported in a holder body portion (10) by an arm portion (11), extended portions (14, 15) are formed in the inner lead emerging slit (13), an engagement projection (17) is provided on a side surface (12a) of the slide portion (12), and the arm portion (11) has a biasing force toward the outside in the radial direction of the shaft cylinder (2). Accordingly, when the slide portion (12) is pressed down and moved along the inner lead emerging slit (13) and the pressing force to the slide portion (12) is released, the engagement projection (17) of the slide portion (12) enters the extended portions (14, 15) of the inner lead emerging slit (13), so that the slide portion (12) is controlled so as not to be moved back and forth. |
