<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer compound having large absorbance of long wavelength light. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a polymer compound including a repeat unit represented by formula (A) and a repeat unit represented by formula (B). In formulas (A) and (B), R represents H, F, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, heteroaryl, a group represented by formula (2a) or a group represented by formula (2b). The H's contained in the group may be substituted with F. A plurality of R's may be the same or different. Ar<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and Ar<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represent a (substituted) 6-60C trivalent aromatic hydrocarbon or a (substituted) 4-60C trivalent heterocycle. In formula (2a), m1 represents an integer of 0-6, m2 represents an integer of 0-6, and R' represents alkyl, aryl or heteroaryl.
