<p>The invention comprises compounds of the formula <FORM:0998972/C2/1> or a salt thereof with an inorganic or organic acid or with a phenol or thiophenol, wherein R represents an abietyl residue or a dehydro-, dihydro-, or tetrahydroabietyl residue, R1, R2, and R3 each represent hydrogen or an alkyl group with one to six carbon atoms, and n=1 or 2. Compounds in which n=1 are prepared by reacting an amine RR1NH with cyanamide, or with a salt of S-alkyl or S-aralkylisothiourea when an alkyl- or aralkylmercaptan is split off, of with BrCN followed by reaction of the resulting intermediate with ammonia. Compounds in which n=2 are made by reacting RR1NH with dicyanodiamide.ALSO:Fungicidal compositions contain, as active ingredient, at least one compound of the formula <FORM:0998972/A5-A6/1> or a salt thereof with an inorganic or organic acid or with a phenol or thiophenol, wherein R represents an abietyl residue or a dehydro-, dihydro-, or tetrahydroabietyl residue, R1, R2, R3 each represent hydrogen or an alkyl group with one to six carbon atoms, and n = 1 or 2, together with an inert solid or liquid carrier. The organic acid salt may be a carboxylic acid, sulphonic acid, alkylcarbamic acid, alkylthiocarbamic acid, alkyldithiocarbamic acid or alkylenebisdithiocarbamic acid salt.</p> |
