<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector which reliably prevents incorrect assembly of a first protector and a second protector and inhibits the occurence of abnormal noise. <P>SOLUTION: A protector 1 according to this invention comprises: a first protector 100 protecting a wire harness W composed of multiple electric wires; and a second protector 200 protecting the wire harness W and coupled to the first protector 100. The first protector 100 comprises a first coupling part 130 coupled to the second protector 200. The second protector 200 includes a second coupling part 230 fixed to the first coupling part 130. The first coupling part 130 is formed by extending one of surfaces forming an outer wall surface of the first protector 100 toward the second protector 200.
