<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodiode array module capable of easily and precisely determining a recommended operating voltage of a reverse bias voltage applied to a photodiode array. <P>SOLUTION: A photodiode array 10 includes a plurality of avalanche photodiodes operated in a Geiger mode. A high voltage generating unit 20 generates a DC voltage applied to the photodiode array 10. A current detection unit 30 detects a current flowing through the photodiode array 10 and generates a current monitor signal. In a control unit 60, the high voltage generating unit 20 is controlled so that the DC voltage to be generated is changed, an inflection point in a change of the current flowing through the photodiode array 10 against the change of the DC voltage applied to the photodiode array 10 is obtained on the basis of the current monitor signal generated in the current detection unit 30, and a recommended operating voltage is determined on the basis of the DC voltage at the inflection point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
