The present invention provides a thermally conductive composition from which a thermal conductor having high thermal conductivity can be obtained. This thermally conductive composition contains silver powder (A), silver particles (B), fatty acid silver (C), and an amine (D). The silver powder (A) preferably has an average particle diameter of 0.3 µm-100 µm. In the silver particles (B), the average particle diameter of primary particles is preferably 50-150 nm, the crystallite diameter is preferably 20-50 nm, and the ratio of average particle diameter to crystallite diameter is preferably 1-7.5. The silver particles (B) are preferably produced by mixing an aliphatic primary amine and a silver salt of a carboxylic acid, then adding a reducing agent to precipitate the silver particles at a reaction temperature of 20-80°C. |
