The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to transfer a flexible substrate of roll-to-roll printing equipment and control the tension of a flexible substrate and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method to transfer a flexible substrate of roll-to-roll printing equipment and control the tension of a flexible substrate, which maintain the best printing quality by minimizing the influence of a thermal strain caused when a flexible substrate is dried in roll-to-roll printing equipment. According to the present invention, a device for absorbing a tension change caused by the thermal strain of the flexible substrate is formed between printing units, and the transferring speed of the flexible substrate in each printing unit is corrected to precisely control the tension of the flexible substrate, thereby maintaining the best printing quality by minimizing the influence of the thermal strain. |
