The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling tilting tension of a chair, which is combined with a back/seat plate connector for connecting a seat plate and a back plate to be coupled to the lower side of the seat plate. The apparatus comprises: a basic tension supply unit which is coupled to the lower side of the seat plate and provides regular tilting tension to the back/seat plate connector; a control tension supply unit which is coupled to the lower side of the seat plate in parallel with the basic tension supply unit, and controls the tilting tension by multiple stages and provides the same to the back/seat plate connector; and a casing part coupled to the lower side of the seat plate while accommodating the basic tension supply unit and the control tension supply unit. The apparatus for controlling the tilting tension of a chair as described above can control the tilting tension provided to the back/seat plate connector by constantly changing the same for each control stage, and can easily set the tilting tension to be obtained. |
