摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus to monitor a state of molten steel and a casting method using the same. The apparatus to monitor the state of molten steel comprises: a nozzle unit comprising a mounting unit by mounting a first and second nozzles each forming a passage on each other; a nozzle condition analysis unit to analyze a mounting condition of the nozzles in accordance with an inflow of gas into the mounting unit; and a control unit linked to the nozzle condition analysis unit and the nozzle unit to control a movement of the nozzle unit in accordance with an analysis result transferred from the nozzle condition analysis unit. Air volume data of the mounting unit by mounting the nozzles are measured and collected by a plurality of sensors; molten steel is injected into the nozzle unit; and an inflow of external gas into the mounting unit is detected by a change of the collected air volume data. If the external gas flows into the mounting unit, the mounting condition of the nozzles is corrected to monitor and respond to a change in state of the molten metal by the gas inflow in real time. Whether the external gas flows between a collection nozzle and a shroud nozzle, the external gas is detected in real time to monitor whether reoxidation of the molten steel occurs. The nozzles are corrected and responded immediately when an inflow of the external gas takes place to shorten reoxidation time of the molten steel. Accordingly, metal barren adhesion and formation in the nozzles can be reduced by increasing a purity of the molten steel. When manufacturing a cast piece, defects such as a pin hole can be used to ultimately increase a quality of the cast piece.
