The disclosed invention provides a tree wedge comprising a first plate and a second plate pivotally coupled with the first plate towards a forward end of the tree wedge. The second plate comprises a threaded aperture towards a rear end of the tree wedge, and a threaded rod journaled in said threaded aperture. A first end of the threaded rod engages an inner side of the first plate, whereby the threaded rod is rotatable about its axis to selectively and pivotally displace the first and second plates. The tree wedge may be driven into a tree and actuated by turning the threaded rod to fell the tree. |
