A portable carrying case comprises a housing to store a cylindrical object and a cap with a built-in cutting apparatus configured to removably engage the housing to provide an airtight seal. The built-in cutting apparatus for cutting the cylindrical object comprises a window-shaped frame comprising an upper end and a lower end. A downward-facing blade is housed in the upper end of the window-shaped frame. An upward-facing blade is positioned at the lower end of the window-shaped frame such that the two blades face each other. A hollow outer casing houses the window-shaped frame such that the window-shaped frame slides down and up inside the hollow outer casing to move the two blades toward and away from each other. Preferably, the cylindrical object is a tree twig, chewing stick or cigar. |
