PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel crystalline forms of an alkoxyimidazol-1-ylmethyl biphenyl carboxylic acid, which has angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist activity and neprilysin-inhibition activity and is used for treating hypertension or heart failure.SOLUTION: The invention provides crystalline heminapadisylate salt or oxalate salt of 4'-{2-ethoxy-4-ethyl-5-[((S)-2-mercapto-4-methylpentanoylamino)methyl]-imidazol-1-ylmethyl}-3'-fluorobiphenyl-2-carboxylic acid represented by formula (I) characterized by a powder x-ray diffraction pattern comprising specific diffraction peaks.SELECTED DRAWING: None
