An adjustable locking pin (10) for connecting at least first (12) and second (14) overlapping mats includes an elongated main body (30), an elastomeric seal (80) extending around the periphery of an enlarged head (40) of the main body (30) and an elongated rotor (50) threadably engaged in a bore (36) of the main body (30). The rotor (50) is rotatable through at least two 360 degree revolutions of rotation relative to the main body (30) and includes a foot (66) at its bottom end (68). The rotational adjustability of the rotor (50)allows the first (12) and second (14) mats to be tightly held together.
