The present invention provides a scrap processing method executed by a scrap processing system having: a plurality of scrap boxes; and a crane for lifting the scrap boxes. The method comprises: a first step of collecting scraps into a first scrap box in the state of positioning a carriage to a collection position on a rail extended linearly along the collection position, a lifting position and a waiting position and seating the first scrap box on the upper part of the carriage; a second step of running and positioning the carriage to the lifting position on the rail to position the first scrap box, after the scrap collection is finished, to the lifting position on the rail and lifting the first scrap box via the crane; a third step of running and positioning the carriage, after lifting the first scrap box has been finished, to the waiting position on the rail and seating a second scrap box, which is in a waiting state, in the upper part of the carriage; a fourth step of collecting the scrap into the second scrap box in the state of running and positioning the carriage, in which the second scrap box is seated, to the lifting position on the rail; and a fifth step of making the first scrap box, after emptying the scrap has been finished, wait at the waiting position. The first step to the fifth step are repeated. |
