The present invention provides a battery cell having a structure where an electrode assembly of positive electrode/separator/negative electrode structure is enclosed with an electrolyte in a storage part of the electrode assembly of a pouch-type battery case. A sealing part which is heat bonded to the outer circumferential surface, with the electrode assembly and electrolyte stored inside, is formed in the battery case and one-side or both-sides side sealing part, which is adjacent to the upper or lower sealing part where electrode terminals are positioned in the sealing part, is formed as a sealing pattern structure in the order of a first sealing part, a gas pocket part, and a second sealing part from the storage part of the electrode assembly outward. The first sealing part and the second sealing part comprise an unsealed surplus portion formed from the respective outer ends to the center of the battery cell.
