The bracket has a slide (13) held in guides provided in an occlusal wall (6) and/or a gingival wall (5) for closing a slot (7). A protrusion is provided on a side of the slide and strikes against a strand during displacement of the slide into a closed position and before reaching the closed position. A space is provided on both sides of the protrusion to accommodate a strand section projecting out of a recess. The slide strikes against a stop in the closed position after the protrusion overcomes the strand. The bracket is made of ceramic. |
