What is described is a table, in particular a garden table, with at least one tabletop (2), at least one base (4), which is designed as a hollow body having an outer wall (24) delimiting at least one cavity (26) and has an upper section (4b), on which the at least one tabletop (2) is arranged, and a lower section (4a) by means of which the base (4) can be placed on an underlying surface, and with at least one heating element (20) which is arranged in the at least one cavity (26) of the base (4). The particular feature of the invention is that the lower section (4a) of the base (4) has at least one air inlet means (28) which is intended for letting in unheated air (C) and which communicates with the cavity (26) containing the heating element (20), the upper section (4b) of the base (4) has at least one air outlet means (30) which is intended to let out air (H) heated by the at least one heating element and which communicates with the cavity (26) containing the heating element (20), and at least one section of the outer wall (24) adjacent to the heating element (20) has at least one thermal insulating means (32). |
