PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching unit capable of continuously utilizing a circuit for performing transmission path switching processing even when necessity for changing a switching hub function e.g. is generated.SOLUTION: A switching unit 10 includes a first substrate 11, a second substrate 12 to be an independent substrate from the first substrate 11 and a connection line 16 for communicably connecting the first substrate and the second substrate 12. A transmission path switching part 14 for switching a transmission path to a trunk line network 1 is mounted on the first substrate 11. A switching hub part 19 having a MAC address table and a table flush part 18 for flushing the MAC address table are mounted on the second substrate 12. |
