<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure control device and a tire air pressure control method, which improve braking performance while improving fuel consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical control unit (ECU) 30 for air pressure control adjusts an air pressure of a tire 2, by controlling operation of a booster pump 26 and a solenoid valve 28 by executing the control program on the basis of a detection result of a pressure sensor 24. The ECU 30 for air pressure control adjusts the air pressure of the tire 2 to a predetermined regular pressure, when a running speed V detected by a vehicle speed sensor 12 exceeds a predetermined threshold speed, and it adjusts the air pressure of the tire 2 to a regulated air pressure which is higher than the regular air pressure, when it is detected that a vehicle is in a stop state by the vehicle speed sensor 12 or a navigation device 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
