The invention relates to agents for dyeing keratin fibers, which have an increased dyeing power. Said agents contain at least one dye precursor for a nature-analog dye selected from the group of the indole and indoline derivatives, at least one pH buffer system and at least one additional basifier and are free from additional oxidizing agents. The agents according to the invention have a long shelf life without significantly losing their dyeing power.
