The present invention refers to a device (1) for securing a rope (2), comprising a resilient element (3) and at least one locking device (4). The resilient element (3) comprises at least one slit (5). The locking device (4) is adapted for securing engagement of the rope (2) within an inside of the locking device (4), and the locking device (4) is adapted for mating engagement with an inside of the slit (5).
