主权项 1. A method for positioning a working device at a desired location within the ear, nose, throat or cranium of a human or animal subject, said method comprising the steps of: (A) inserting an endoscope into a first channel of a guide device, wherein the first channel comprises a first tube including a first outer wall and a first inner wall defining a first lumen; (B) inserting the guide device, with the endoscope inserted in the first channel thereof, into or through a nostril of the subject so as to guide the insertion of the guide device using the endoscope; (C) inserting the working device into a second channel of the guide device, wherein the working device includes a guidewire, wherein the second channel comprises a second tube including a second outer wall and a second inner wall defining a second lumen, wherein the second tube is disposed alongside the first tube such that a portion of the first outer wall is adjacent to a portion of the second outer wall, wherein the second channel includes a first portion that extends at an angle relative to the first channel and a second portion that extends parallel to the first channel, wherein the first channel and the second channel are angularly fixed relative to one another; (D) advancing the endoscope relative to the first channel such that an end of the endoscope exits from a distal end of the guide device; (E) using the endoscope to view, guide or verify the positioning of the guide device and/or the guidewire; (F) advancing a second working device over the guidewire; and (G) treating the desired location by dilating anatomical structure at the desired location.
