According to the present invention, an arc extinguishing device for a circuit breaker for wiring comprises: a fixed contact and a movable contact for receiving power supply from an electric circuit to transmit the same to a load; an arc chamber installed on one side of the fixed contact; and a plurality of grids stacked on the arc chamber to extinguish an arc. The grids comprise at least one protruding unit, protruding toward an art extinguishing unit, on an inner peripheral surface constituting the arc extinguishing unit. As a result, arc speed can be enhanced without adding extra grids when contact separation occurs. Thus, an art can be effectively extinguished by enhancing arc speed under the same condition. |
