An apparatus for controlling a throughput of an electronic device comprises: at least one driver for processing data; a throughput monitor unit for monitoring the driver, and calculating the processed data into a throughput; a throughput control unit for analyzing the calculated throughput, and determining a setting value of a corresponding driver; and an execution unit for executing a function with the setting value.
